  • Excellent address in Trinidad by Christian Thery (Stayed on Mar 18, 2018)

Warm welcome from the owner of this family-owned colonial casa, located 50m from the Viazul Bus Station. We did enjoy the sunset and a nice dinner on the terrace of the house.

  • Splendida Trinidad by Gian Paolo (Stayed on Aug 07, 2015)

  • Great place to stay in Trinidad by Jim O Doherty (Stayed on Mar 25, 2014)

Stayed 4 nights here in March, and loved the old colonial charm of the building and room. Service is excellent, Yirina and Chichi are available all t he time to answer whatever issues you may have. The room we had in the courtyard was perfect, aircon, hot water etc and the roof terrace is perfect for lounging around or having a good look over the rest of Trinidad and surrounding mountains. Our only complaint would be that when we stayed there was a lot of building work going on, which seemed to cause a bit of chaos in the house and was a bit noisy as we were right next door to where a new room being added. Overall a really nice place to stay in central Trinidad, its certain to be even better when the building works are finished!

  • Fantastic house by Reka (Stayed on Feb 23, 2013)

The family is friendly and helpful organizing activities. Accommodation completely worth the price, since it looks like a museum. How was the food?
The food was tailored to our requirement even in late hours. How was the room?
The room was a bit warm, without windows but most probably due to the age of the building. The toilet had some water supply problem, which we overcome.

  • Our staying in Habana, Vinales and Cienfuegos have been a true pleasure, the casas where great and the hosts really friendly. Unfortunately, I cannot tell the same about Casa Yirina y Chichi in Trinidad. This place was a total disaster. First of all, despite the fact our host of Cienfuegos had called to confirm our arrival two days before, the casa had given away our room for the first night and they weren’t even able to explain us the reason. We have been given the son’s room to sleep in. That was an old and small room totally different from the ones in the pictures. The room had no bathroom, we had to exit it and share the family’s one

a very dirty bathroom with no running water on the toilet. Moreover, the room had no privacy because it was placed in the hall, divided only by a tiny door with broken glasses. The noise in the morning was unbearable, we were woken up at 6 by people going in and out. We have complained and obtained half price for the first night. On the second one, we have been moved to our room, and there was no hot water on the first day and no water at all the day after. Yirina was not even there to receive complaints (she is on holiday!)
the casa was runned by the son and by two extremely rude and unpleasant women that could not care less about our complaints and that did not make us feel at home at all (as other hosts did).
