Casa Villa Mar y Esperanza

Casa Villa Mar y Esperanza in Puerto Esperanza, is one of the larger houses and with more history in this village, the casa was built in 1906, maintaining partially the structure. The casa has a good comfort, and clients can decide if they want to rent the all house or only the room. They offer small serenades and songs of traditional Cuban music by local artists so clients can enjoy beautiful evenings, plus many recreational activities including excursions to nearby beaches where you can dive, horseback riding, cycling, and salsa lessons. Ruxlan one of the owners is an agronomist and Eva is a Physics. They speak Spanish and English and will make your stay the best and most enjoyable like you own home. New pictures

  • Estar en familia by Jorge

  • Nice Casa by Andrew scholes

A great casa - best food and hosts on the island. Eva was a great cook and we enjoyed three great meals in the covered private terrace. As hosts Eva and Ruxlan made you feel comfortable and we're very helpful and honest, helping to arrange transport and plan trips. Sitting on the front veranda In a rocking chair is a great way to wind down for an afternoon.

  • Villa Mar Y Esperanza, escape to the sea by Javier

I highly recommend Villa Mar y Esperanza for anybody how decides to recharge batteries. I just drove down to the town Puerto Esperanza looking for a place to stay. This town is a quiet place for resting and relax. I also had the opportunity to see another reality there and interact with the locals. How was the food?
The seafood Eva cooked was delicious and believe me when I say delicious. The lobster I ate was a dream. How was the room?
I stay in a spacious house with a wonderful one bedroom for rent. This rental offers air-conditioning, private bathroom, hot water, two beds that can accommodate four people, a nice porch where I sat for hours and a terrace with a dining table and private parking space. I also had access to the kitchen. Other Comments
Ruxlan and Eva ensured I had a wonderful stay. They provided interesting info about excursions to a place known as Puerto Escondido, and suggested to visit a farmers who produce tobacco in the area or just go and relax by the sea as I did.

  • The best part of our trip in a beautifull casa particular in Puerto Esperanza. Eva and Ruxlan are really nice. They solve every problem that you could have in this little fisher's village. They are excellent teachers of salsa and they bring a lot of happiness. I really recommend this casa particular. The food was just amazing, Eva and Ruxlan are excellent cooks. My favorite dish in this casa is the lobster with evas'sauce. Very good price/ performance ratio. Thanks a lot to Eva and Ruxlan who were amasing with us.

  • My favorite casa particular in Cuba by Betsy Harvin

Dislike being part of the crowd? These are your people. They are highly knowledgeable and well regarded in the community, speak good English, and are game to show you the real Cuba. Highlights
bike ride along quiet country roads, end of the afternoon horse and cart ride through oldest agricultural commune in Cuba with spontaneous stop for beer in the social hall, people watching (and dancing if inclined) at the one and only local bar/dance spot. I arrived and wanted a swim, so Ruixian walked me to the water, greeting everyone along the way, and we jumped off the dock and cooled off. I just may not have had the guts to do that myself right away. Ruixian and Eva get it. They so get it. Highly, highly recommmended. How was the food?
Delicious and varied. Guests get to pick what they'd like to eat. Fresh fish. fresh everything. How was the room?
    big and comfortable. Other Comments
    Just go.
