  • Absolutely amazing family to help you start or finish your trip in Cuba by Hazel Skelton (Stayed on Mar 01, 2016)

We were sent to Ana Maria's casa as the original we booked was undergoing construction work. We were delighted at our change of accommodation. Ana Maria is an amazing host, full of love and life. Her and her son advised us on how to traverse Cuba and Havana safely and in the best way to really appreciate the country. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast tasty and filling, the patio is perfectly relaxing before you head out to the madness of Havana. Close to Vedado and the Malecon and Plaza del Revolucion. We walked the half hour to Havana Vieja every day easily. A great, cheap neighbourhood restaurant next door is very handy. Ana also organised very well priced to the bus station on our first stay and then to the airport when we were sadly leaving Cuba. Affordable and welcoming, I'd recommend Ana Maria and her lovely family and case to anyone who wants a taste of friendly, sociable Cuba. How was the food?
The breakfast was gorgeous and the coffee was the best we tried in Cuba and we tried a lot. How was the room?
Perfect, quite basic but had a comfie bed, a good shower, a fridge, a fan and air con. It was cleaned every day and the leafy patio was a real bonus. Other Comments
Some of the nicest people we met in Cuba, you won't regret a stay here.

  • Nice experience in La Havana by Vincenzo Nicolini (Stayed on Apr 15, 2014)

It was like returning to my roots. I lived the same things and situations a long long time ago. How was the food?
    Excellent! How was the room?
    Comfortable. Other Comments
A journey depends on people also, and we have been welcomed so nicely by Ana Maria and her family that I regret to be back home! They were so kind with us! Don't hesitate to rent a room in Ana Maria's paradise!
