Casa Sullet y Nelson

I stayed a month and a half here and I loved it! Not only the house has as many comforts as you can wish for (e.g. air conditionating and a private balcony), but Sullet and Nelson are also two very helpful people: they will always be there in whatever thing you need or to give you as many suggestions as possible. For example, when I first came to Cienfuegos I was looking for a Spanish teacher who could give me some private lessons. Therefore, Sullet arranged some Spanish classes with a highly qualified professor and it was a wonderful experience. Moreover, if you decide to stay in this specific 'casa particular' I highly advise you to try Sullet's cooking, which was very tasty and typical. In particular, her 'chicharritas' (very thin and crispy fried bananas) are the best I tasted during my long journey in Cuba, so I strongly advise you to ask her to cook them. Lastly, the position of the house is great. It is in a very central area and, in particular, on a road where there is the local elementary school, so where you can observe the day to day life in Cienfuegos.
