Beautiful and quiet place, nice host couple. The food was really good, thanks to Raiza. You took good care of us!

Best casa we stayed during our trip in Cuba. We arrived for 2 days and we decided to stay 2 extra nights. The quietness of the place and the delicious food of Raiza made that decission very easy to take. They were super friendly and helpfull all the time. We were there during the hurricane Irma and Ignacio was informing us every day about the evolution and the risks of moving to certain places, advicing us what it was best to do. One month later, I still dream with Raiza´s soups! Delicious! :)

  • Lovely getaway at the edge of town by Michelle (Stayed on Mar 19, 2016)

Ignacio and Raiza were so nice, and their place was beautiful. We sat on the verandah every meal and looked out on to the rice fields, and could hear crickets and birds. Because it is far away from the busy part of town, it felt like we were surrounded by nature, which was very peaceful. The rooftop is nice to have a drink on as well. How was the food?
Delicious! Huge portions, very tasty and fresh. The drinks were also very good. How was the room?
Very nice, a little on the small side, but comfortable and cosy. The hot water was a little sketchy at times. Other Comments
Ignacio was very good with helping us book horseback riding tours and taxis, and he showed us some magic tricks, which was lots of fun. The place is very relaxing and the area so beautiful that we could easily have stayed a week there if there was space available.

  • Very relaxing by Beverley Slynn (Stayed on Mar 01, 2016)

We felt very welcome at Ignacio and Raiza's casa. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The best part was the location approx 10 mins walk from the main village whic h meant it was lovely and quite, there was a carnival on whilst we were there and many of the casas in the village would have been very noisy. The outlook is over fields both in front and behind with a lovely roof top terrace although we didn't use this much as we chose to sit in the downstairs patio in the shade. Raiza cooked us lobster 1 evening and it was wonderful and definitely recommended. We also ate breakfast which was fresh fruit, pastries, pancakes, eggs and Cuban honey.
