Geweldig!! by Raimundo Jimenez (Stayed on Jul 18, 2018)
Wonderful casa, welcoming family by Virginia
My husband and I stayed with Micher & Deylin on our honeymoon. It was great! Micher and Deylin are wonderful people - Deylin met us at the bus stop with a sign with my name so that she could walk us to their house, and they both treated us like family. Micher speaks quite a bit of English, and Deylin speaks some English as well, and is learning more. How was the food?
Delicious. And abundant! How was the room?
The room is actually a detached bungalow with sleeping room, bathroom (with its own hot water source, so there was always hot water!), a front room for eating, and a room off to the side with a sink and...an electric kettle! The sleeping room was quite large and in addition to the 2 double beds and a nighttable, it had a stand with shelves and a rod for hanging clothes. Other Comments
The casa was just right for the two of us, but it's also one of the best I've seen for a family or a group. The sleeping room has two double beds, and if your group is bigger than that, Micher's mother has a casa right next door, and a cousin has one next door to that. Also, if you're traveling with kids, they have a lovely small yard surrounded by a tall hedge. I can't tell you how nice it was, after the hustle and hectic of Habana, to sit in a rocking chair in front of the bungalow and see only green. The place has got a very nice rural atmosphere with an amazing mountain fresh air. Deilyn and Micher are very warm people, they are always there for you whatever you need. Our special thanks also goes to seniora Rosa, Deilyn’s Mother, who also contributed a lot to our comfortable and enjoyable stay. How was the food? by Anstasia and Leonid
There was the best food we had in Cuba. Fish was very nice but the highlight is the traditional Cuban dinner that Deilyn cooked on our last day there. How was the room?
The room is very big with two double beds. It also has it's own entrance which is very handy if you come back late at night. Other Comments
Dear Deilyn, we hope you are well and we thank you so much for your care and effort.by Liene
It was our first stay in casa particulare in Cuba and we really enjoyed it. Here we definitely got the best Cuban food on the whole Cuba trip! The plantains were taken to kitchen directly from the tree in the garden! The bungalow provided enough privacy. We had our own breakfast/dinner table in it and enjoyed all our meals there. Deylin met us at the bus station and was a lovely host. The communication was a nice mix of English and Spanish (which I did want to practice a little). Just one warning - be prepared for some mosquitos and country noises in Vinales. All in all it was a great experience and a much less challenging one than we thought it might be. We will certainly opt for casas on our next Cuba trip and we recommend Casa Micher y Deylin as a great place to stay in Vinales!
