  • Another Wonderful visit by Tony Zegarchuk (Stayed on Nov 09, 2016)

This is one of our favourite casas in Vinales. In a town over-run by tourists in recent years, this is one of the few casas that hasn't raced to add additional rooms to rent, making it still feel like you're THE guest and not just one of several. Nicolas and Ondina are a wonderful couple. Nico's english is about the best in town (police call upon him when translation duties are required). Although the casa is on a fairly busy street which can get a little noisy, the room is at the back of the house and is very quiet. The room now has insect netting on the windows, and mosquitoes were not a problem at all this year (few casas provide mosquito netting or screens on their windows). Highly recommended. How was the food?
With the quantity of tourists in vinales these days, the price of food supplies has sky-rocketed and more and more casas are no longer providing dinner as an option (although all still provide breakfast). As it turns out, this is not a problem since vinales has a thriving restaurant scene these days, all with very reasonable pricing. How was the room?
This is one of our favourite rooms. The bed is good, the room spotless, the bathroom is a nice size with brighter lightening than what we've experience elsewhere. Other Comments
Will definitely continue to use this casa on future trips!
