Casa Mami Vedado

We had an amazing time at this place! The hostess is simply amazing woman! I just love her! )) We felt at home! Great breakfast and comfortable room! I like big balcony overlooking the city! There is a parking near the house. Casa Mami is located in the heart of Havana, very close to the major sights! It was a great base for exploring the city! Thanks to Magaly – her advice about the best places to see was precious!

My husband and I stayed at Case Mami Vedado February 9 – 13, 2019. The friendly and sweet staff along with the most amazing host and hostess made our stay an experience I will always treasure. Besides the accommodation being very spacious, extremely clean and well appointed, the common areas of the dining and living room were comfortable and inviting. The balcony with views to the National Hotel and ocean beyond is large and the perfect place to relax after a day of touring Havana. The location is excellent with being only a few yards to the National Hotel and Malecon. Our hot breakfast was always made to order accompanied with fresh local fruit, juices and great Cuban coffee. The real treasure, however is the hostess. Her helpfulness with sightseeing and touring was excellent. Her knowledge of Cuban history and personal experiences -- priceless. We both highly recommend this wonderful Casa and will be sure to return in the near future.

The four of us ( a family with two grown-up sons) had a wonderfull stay at Mami Vedado in Havana. We were surprised by the comfort and space of the appartment and by its location. The rooms were clean, cool and well equipped. Besides we felt free to make use of the shared living and dining room. There we had a lovely and heathy breakfast with enough privacy but also our hostess within reach for all kinds of advices and recommendations. In fact, this contact with our lovely host and hostess, the warm welcome they gave us and the interesting conversations we had about the history of Cuba added with personal stories and experiences, gave us a sense of being very privileged to stay with them. We are still impressed and inspired by ourstay with them and really couldn't wish for anything better.

We stayed at casa Mami for 10 days in November. We are satisfied with the stay there. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and breakfast were excellent. We can heartily recommend this casa. Kind regards from Hollland. Peter.

Me and my partner went to Havana for our summer vacation with very high expectations. We’ve always admired the beautiful buildings and the atmosphere of the city. And I can truly say that our expectations was exceeded! The house was beautifully decorated, as well as really clean. But what truly stood out for us, and what made our stay something extra, was the warmth and hospitality the family showed us. They helped us find restaurants that we enjoyed (which was no easy task since one of us doesn’t eat meat), showed us the city’s secret gems and helped us with what ever we needed. All I can say is that this was truly one of my best vacations and without this families help it would never have been as great!
