  • Wonderful! by Brian Highland (Stayed on Apr 10, 2017)

Azucena, Marilin, and family were excellent hosts and had a beautiful house. Meals were great and we enjoyed interacting with the kids. Marilin also helped us find salsa lessons with Yusel, and when all of the guides they knew were booked for a tour of the city, her son-in-law, Livan, was able to take us himself and was an excellent guide. In fact, we have a gift for him that we're trying to figure out how to get there without paying an arm and a leg. We mostly spoke in Spanish, but they knew enough English to communicate with those of us in our party that didn't speak any Spanish.
