Casa Hostal El Teide

Casa Hostal El Teide in Trinidad is managed and service by its owners. Guests will find an amazing and completely different attention. One of the owners: Carlos Duran Estevez, is Maitre and works at Iberostar Trinidad Hotel and has graduated in numerous courses of international cuisine, speaks very fluid English. But there's a story you do not know. The tradition of service in Estévez family goes back to the last century. The great great grandfather of Carlos opened one of the first eateries in the town of Trinidad, and was called precisely Teide. That name and vocation of service are kept alive in the hostel. Is perpetuating the family tradition. El Teide, rather than a brand name, is a commitment to family memory, which is embodied in the quality and professionalism of the service. Use this name means a constant challenge for Mr. Carlos and his family. You may not find many references on Internet. It is because they opened in late 2011, and get a good ranking takes time. But specifically, what they offer?, Hostal El Teide offers 4 spacious and comfortable rooms. Each room has a private bathroom, hot / cold water 24 hours, A/C, 2 beds and a view of the terrace. They can also provide information on car rental, dance lessons, horseback riding, and different routes that you can enjoy during your stay.

  • Hostal el Teide by Karin Boultwood

We had 4 wonderful days in the Hostal el Teide. Johanna is a very nice host and speaks English!! The rooms were nicely equipped and they all had a safe and an enormous minibar. The aircondition was quiet and was perfectly working! Breakfast was enormous and very good! All in all: it is worth going there!

  • What a casa! by Jeremy and Elaine Fisher

What a casa! More like a four star hotel ! Not surprising really, as the owner is Maitre d'Hotel at the nearby Iberian hotel. The only casa where we found small bottles of shampoo etc in the bathroom. Carlos speaks excellent English and can't do enough to help and his family are delightful. Dad is being trained to wait on tables like a professional. How was the food?
Fantastic and a dream for a vegetarian. Every night a different vegetarian dish was produced. Breakfasts were also amazing. How was the room?
Very comfortable and also of hotel standard. Always plenty of hot water. Other Comments
We were met at the bus station and as the casa is some distance from it the family paid for our transport. It was a joy to stay in this home, run efficiently and warmly by lovely hosts. Impossible to find any fault with it.

  • A family affair by Eva Petersen

The entire family in Casa El Teide did their utmost to make us feel welcome,- nearly too much, if that is possible. They arranged our tour to Topes de Collantes with the travel agent comming to us in the Casa Sr Carlos del Valle tlf 53-52916368, which was an exellent idea, and it was one of our best walking tours with a dip in the cool waterfall pond. Our guide was very good. Cost 55 CUC pr person. in a jeep with only us. Trinidad city is in our opinion over valuated,- Camaquey has more nice houses. How was the food?
    Gourmet. How was the room?
    standard. Other Comments
    We liked the granmother.
