  • Great Experience by Solene and Eduardo (Stayed on Aug 05, 2017)

We had a great experience in Ruben's "casa particular". The "casa" is clean, the beds are large, the bathrooms are good, the breakfast is tasty and he's very nice. Unfortunately most of the times in Cuba you feel that the locals try to duke you (never generalise, thou, there were nice people, too): Ruben was very different from them; you can feel that his main priority is not to take money out of you but rather to have you enjoy your stay (for example he helped us change the reservation dates in other hotels although that implied that we would stay one night less in his "casa"). He even has free WiFi for the guests (maybe the only one in the entire city). We highly recommend Ruben's "casa" if you visit Trinidad.

  • Our expericenes by Kim (Stayed on Aug 05, 2013)

A nice house with a nice patio. Two rooms, in our room we had our own fridge. The family is really nice an helpful. How was the food?
Really good and fresh, we recomend it. How was the room?
The room was ok. Other Comments
As Ruben noticed that we like cigars he invited his 'brother' to come to his house to show us cigars. Unfortunately we bought some. After that we went to different shops and also to the tabac factory in Habanna. A specialist confirmed us that de cigars are falses. Don't buy any cigars in Rubens house, and don't believe their stories.
