  • Best Casa in Cuba by Fons Kleinveld (Stayed on Jul 15, 2018)

We travelled from the west to the east in Cuba by car. This was a wonderful casa with very friendly hosts. Our booking agency had booked an other casa (Colonial) but the owners were not informed by the agency. Yanet and her husband are really friendly and helpful, Will surely come back to this casa when I ever come back to Cuba.

  • The owners were very welcoming by Tim (Stayed on May 27, 2017)

The owners were very welcoming, and also quite accommodating towards my poor Spanish. Eduardo was kind enough to give me a ride into town and gave me a great run-down on the local area and some of the sights. They were also very helpful in organising my transport to my next destination. Staying here was a pleasure. How was the food?: Amazing! Definitely worth eating in. How was the room?: Very quiet and comfortable, no problems.

  • Hugely impressed by Lynette Basha, United Kingdom,|n||n||n||n||n||n| (Stayed on Apr 28, 2017)

This was such a lovely, calm, spacious and comfortable Casa. The owners went out of their way to help me and make the stay feel special and relaxing. The food was superb, and they even have gorgeously sweet homegrown bananas. The breakfast verandah is spacious and peaceful, the coffee and breakfast generous and very tasty. I found the amenities to be modern, very clean and convenient. Janet and her husband are very kind and wam and I was driven to and from the sights in Soroa for a small sum. Highly recommended!!

  • Excellent Casa by Yvonne & Hans, Holanda,|n||n||n||n||n||n| (Stayed on Feb 13, 2017)

Excellent Casa. The owner, his wife and their son do everything to make you feel good. The breakfast is delicious, we even got handmade special cookies. The dinner was delicious as well. His wife cooks very welfresh fish, vegetables, whatever you want. De room is very clean, modern, large and has everything you need on a (bicycle-)trip in Cuba. It was nice sitting on the balcony and looking out over the nice garden and the fields. With a glass of Soroa wine-) You can make several trips, to Las Terrazas, to the Orchid garden, to the waterfall etc. Excellent Casa.

  • Loved this casa! by Toma, |n||n||n||n||n||n| (Stayed on Aug 13, 2016)

How was the food? The food was really good! The lady of the house prepared some traditional food for dinner (ropa vieja was great!) and the breakfast was also excellent with fresh juice and lots of fruit, cheese, eggs. How was the room?We were in a room that had two twin beds, so there was plenty of space. It had its own bathroom, air con and it was very clean. When you exit the room you get out on a lovely terrace next to the garden! Other CommentsThe family that lives in the casa is really nice and the hostess will gladly give you tips where to go. As almost everywhere in Cuba, they don't speak English in the casa, so it helps to know Spanish, but the hostess gets some basics of English, so when you combine it with mime, you get by .
