A very nice and friendly guesthouse by Peter and Rita Both (Stayed on Jan 18, 2020)
The owners of this guesthouse are very friendly and will help you with everything. The location is nice with a view on the beach and situated in a quiet part of this town. And one of the neighbours is really a perfect fish restaurant where you can eat lobster for a very reasonable price. The rooms and bathrooms and comfortable and clean. And the breakfest is delicious. a nice place to stay in Cuba.

My wife and I have stayed in this casa with this family ever since they started in the B and B business. Both Cary and Rigo are very well versed in the trade, having worked in the hotel near by for many years. Rigo is an excellent cook and always cooks nice, simple and finger-licking dishes. The house is a short walk from the local beach, and is also close to all the local facilities, like the clinic, ETECSA where you can buy internet cards and the banks. The hosts can help you book your next stay, arrange for a taxi to take you anywhere, arrange for you to have a SCUBA diving session, a SCUBA initiation class or simply snorkelling. If you are a bird watcher, they can book you with one of the many excellent nature guides available. Staying with Cary and Rigo is always the highlight of our Cuba experience...

During our visit to Cuba during almost one month we were living in eleven different casas particulares. The Casa Rigo (Playa larga) was outstanding and absolutely the best one. Our room was in a way isolated from the rest of the house which made us feel private and that we never had the feeling of bothering the owners private life, which not always could be the case.The house was near to the beech and it was confortable to be able to change to a swimming dress in the house. The food also was outstanding and very generous. We had fish meals and lobsters which we never will forget. They knew exactly how to prepare the food in order to maintain their taste, flavour and smooth quality. The man was properly dressed for the cooking. He made tortillas in the shape of a square. In a resumen. If I go back to Cuba once more (this was the second time) I would go there first of all to be able to return to Casa Rigo. Felicidades a ellos.
