  • Excellent, homely casa with wonderful and caring hosts! This is the first time we visited Cuba and the first time we stayed in a ‘B&B’ set up, so were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautifully appointed Casa with excellent and clean rooms, a very pleasant balcony and, the jewel in the crown- wonderful hostess and her staff who are family friends. How was the food? by Shirley Dias (Stayed on Oct 24, 2016)

Excellent (10/10)- plentiful (more than we could eat). Breakfast was included and each morning, included some Cuban delicacies as well as eggs as you like them. You could have lunch and dinner if you wanted- very personalised service, fresh produce such as dogfish caught earlier that day, chicken, pork, lamb- a wide choice was offered- they just needed a few hours notice. How was the room?
Very well appointed- in fact recently refurbished so looked really good and fresh. Other Comments
I would really recommend that visitors to Cuba try this kind of accommodation over the usual hotels- the experience is far more authentic. This casa was in the road rather than on the beach- but it was only a 5 minute walk to the beach, so this was not a problem, and the actual casa more than made up for this.

  • The casa is fairly well located but rather a view over the rooftops on the sea, there is a large roof terrace, furnished with tables, chairs, loungers. How was the food? by Moreau Thierry (Stayed on Jan 18, 2015)

Meals were fabulous !! plentiful (too well) and excellent with good products, even the breakfast was a treat! excellent service. How was the room?
The room we had was on the street but it is very quiet, especially at night. there was a very nice furnished and covered terrace. The bathroom was large, very recent and very well appointed; good water pressure and hot water. There were two beds and a fully stocked fridge (to pay more). The air was fresh and silent (split system).
