Wonderful host couple, Casca's yard was really beautiful. The food was excellent. Quiet location. If you want a quiet base, that's exactly what it is. The ride to the center was very good with the taxi and the beach was convenient for bicycles.

The casa owners were extremely welcoming, nice and charming. Very attentive, and despite our limited Spanish, we managed to communicate effectively with Pedro and Yamilay who always had a smile on their face and a positive attitude. They had bike on site we could hire for 5CUC a day, and it was very useful manage our beach days and bike around the gorgeous area. Playa Ancon is a 20 mins bike ride from the casa but you have closer beaches, and the famous Lobster restaurant on the way (10 mins away). If you want a chilled out moment in Cuba, and away from the resorts, this casa is the perfect choice.

A very un-pretentious B&B whose secrets lie inside the gates, behind the flowing palm trees. Pedro and Yami are charming, generous hosts who are constantly working to improve their cottage and acreage. They were planting several new palm trees when we were there. How was the food?
The food is abundant and deliciously prepared. Yamilay serves the best Pina Colada ever! How was the room?
The room was cozy, but the shower was a bit small (and I am a big man.) Other Comments
Although it is across the road from the beach the view is un-obstructed and the sunsets are entrancing, especially when viewed from the upper terrace. El Arrecife is a fine place to have a relaxing holiday and we would certainly go back.Lovely place to stay! by Sanne (Stayed on Nov 01, 2016)
This place is very lovely and located in La Boca. It is near the city of Trindad which is crowdy and too busy and therefore uncomfortable to stay over. La Boca is also situated near Playa Ancon, a great beach. Although the bed and breakfast across the street is more modern and may therefore look more appealing, one should at least also stay in this BB. We found that the food was better here and the cocktails were great! By far the best Pina Colada in entire Cuba are served there. Pedro told us that Yamilay could make the mojitos even better. We have not tried these, such a shame for us! We therefore should definitely come back! How was the room?
The room was fine, the bed was good and the rooms were clean. Pedro and Yamilay just started this service so therefore there may not be found enough good reviews but they will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. So make sure you stay over at their casa!
