Dear Kary and Humberto by Andrea and Anna (Stayed on Nov 10, 2018)
We stayed at Casa Kary y Humberto in Havana Vieja for 4 nights during our trip around Cuba, the first three nights and the last one. The position is perfect, next to Revolucion Museum and 5 minutes on foot to Parque Central. Breakfast is also fantastic: eggs, ham, cheese, bread, juice, milk, coffee, fresh fruits, only for 5 cuc each. The casa is very beautiful and Kary and Humberto are wonderful people, kind and very nice. It was a pleasure to meet you. Kind regards from Andrea and Anna
Our place in Havana by Renaat y Yudi (Stayed on Oct 30, 2017)
The casa is situated near the Museo de la Revolución on the edge between Habana Viega and Centro. It's the perfect base for visiting Havana. Within a mile radius you'll find many intresting places. The Capitolio is nearby (within half a mile) as are the Bodiguito del Medio and the famous bars Floridita (E. Hemmingway) and Sloppy Joes. The owners are friendly people and the rooms are in perfect condition with recently installed airconditioning, fridge and private bathroom. The house is kept in perfect condition and very safe. Recommended.

Kary sent us to her daughter's casa, facing her place. She explained that she was ill but in fact she had guests instead of us (we saw them on the balcony having breakfast with Kary !). Her daughter clearly does it for money, she did not talk to us, we asked for internet (as we saw outlook opened on computer) but his son answered that we were not allowed to use it, and she even did not asked for our passports. On the morning she was gone and we only saw her chicas. How was the food?
Diner not available, breakfast ok but expensive for what it was. How was the room?
Ok but no window and beds not very comfortable.
Very friendly and helpful hosts. How was the food? by Olav (Stayed on Nov 19, 2014)

Casa de Kari y Humberto by Hilary McKenzie (Stayed on Feb 28, 2014)
How was the food?
Very plentiful, well presented, delicious. How was the room?
Spacious, with all amenities. Good bathroom. Other Comments
Very pleasant charming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Kari's son in law will provide a tour of Havana for a very reasonable charge. He speaks very good English, and knows Havana and its history very well. It was well worth doing.
