Lovely apartment in great location by Janette (Stayed on Apr 02, 2015)
We booked Casa Chacon 158 for two night from 2nd April. Unfortunately when we arrived there had been a water main burst in Habana Vieja so there was no running water to the apartment. This meant we were unable to stay at the casa but the owner was really helpful and arranged alternative accommodation for us and arranged a car to take us to the new casa. I was so impressed with her helpfulness and the lovely casa that I would still like to leave a review even though we didn't get to stay there. We did get to look around the apartment and it was lovely - we will make sure we do stay there next time we visit Havana! The casa was really spacious, with well furnished rooms and a private balcony overlooking the street. How was the room?
Two bedrooms were well furnished and look clean, comfortable and restful. The whole casa was beautiful and we were sad that we couldn't stay.
Nice apartment in Habana Vieja! by Megan Mannell (Stayed on Dec 21, 2014)
This is a great place to stay in Habana Vieja! Your own little apt with living room, balcony, kitchenette, etc. Very centrally located in Habana Vieja with a really quick walk to several sites. How was the food?
We did not eat here, but Yadimir recommended an amazing paladar down the street where we ate twice! She also gave us several other excellent food recommendations. How was the room?
Excellent, very clean and plenty of space, with a nice bathroom and hot water as well. Other Comments
Thank you Yadimir for a great stay in your casa and for all of your advice and help!
This is where you want to stay in Havana!!! by Ricardo (Stayed on Nov 01, 2014)
Yudaisy's two bedroom apartment is delightful and within easy walking distance of Parque Central, Museos de la Revolucion and Bellas Artes and lots of shops and restaurants. Her assistant Yadimir is very gracious and friendly and makes wonderful breakfasts with eggs, fruit and excellent coffee. How was the food?
Fantastic! How was the room?
Very clean and comfortable with air conditioning. We slept very well each night we stayed there. Other Comments
Yudaisy was very helpful in giving us information about Havana and set us up with her tour-guide father Vasilio to tour the Pinar del Rio region for four days. During that time, we stayed with Vasilio and his wife Maria Elena in Pinar and she prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners for us! We feel SO lucky to have connected with Yudaisy and her parents in order to have such an authentic experience of both urban and rural Cuba.
Perfect Spot to See Havana by Wendy Schmidt (Stayed on Dec 30, 2013)
Will stay at Casa Chacon on next visit~ perfect location a few blocks to Obispo and short walk to Plaza de Catedral, apartment is spacious, great to have balcony, owner is lovely, caretaker is attentive. Couldn't ask for anything better! Great for a family as there are 2 rooms/1 bathroom. How was the food?
No time to eat breakfast! We were off and running each day, too excited to get out and explore Havana!!!! How was the room?
Very spacious, separate sitting room/kitchen & bedroom, lovely balcony, big bathroom. Other Comments
The owner/hostess, Yudaisy, is unbelievably helpful in fulfilling all tour needs throughout Havana and Cuba. Lovely woman, now a friend~! She made all arrangements for a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner & concert in the Plaza de Catedral, dinner reservations on request, and set up a driver (her brilliant father) for us to Vinales & a room in Trinidad that was also perfect! Fabulous stay in Old Havana! Great first visit to Cuba! We'll be baaaack!!!
