Very convenient for those traveling in groups and backpackers. Clarita and Orlando are very nice hosts that take care very well of their clients.

Casa Clarita y Orlando by Janine Sherry
My husband and I stayed 4 wonderful nights at this casa. Our hosts, Clarita and Orlando were fabulous - friendly and helpful and treated us in such a way that we really felt as though we were part of their family. The Casa is located along the Malecon and is an easy 20 minute walk to the centre of Havana. The building is very secure (a locked gate leads into to ground floor)and we felt totally safe walking home at all times of the day and evening. We would certainly stay here again if ever in Cuba, and have recommended it to others who have enquired about our stay. How was the food?
We only ended up having breakfast at the Casa as there were so many restaurants and cafes to try in Havana. Breakfast was very plentiful with plates of wonderful fresh fruit - pineapple quava, paw paw, watermelon and banana. There was also toast, fresh juices, tea and coffee, pastries and some (specially made by Clarita and Orlando) croquettes. Eggs were also available, but were so full from the rest of the food, we declined. How was the room?
Our room was spotless. We had our own private bathing facilities, tv, small table and chairs, storage for our clothes and bags, along with a fridge stocked with drinks (beer, soft drinks and water) available for a nominal price. Other Comments
We would highly recommend Casa Clarita y Orlando when staying in Havana. We were also very pleased with the services of our booking agent, BBInnVinales,com. Jose (our contact) was extremely helpful in finding us a Casa. Jose was very professional, responded very quickly to our emails and provided us with plenty of information regarding the booking process.
