  • Exquisite owners! by Davide (Stayed on Jul 09, 2018)

The house is 10 minutes walking far from the city centre. Cecilia's daughter is lovable: she showed us the multiple things to do in Cienfuegos and tell about the history of the city. She also gave us a cigar and a postcard of Cienfuegos. Finally she managed the transfer to Trinidad after the visit to Guanaroca Protected area and El Nicho's waterfalls. Good the room, the services offered and the breakfast. Very good the intermediation of BBinnVinales, especially in the person of José, a very professional man, always available for every type of requests.

  • Bonita – Casa & People by Kaladevee & Annie (Stayed on Dec 19, 2017)

We were welcomed with some smooth music and her dad greeting us with so much love. Cecilia is the owner and her daughter was the one hosting us. She speaks really good English and she takes the effort to explain the entire city of Cienfuegoes and recommends the activities to do. She has two beautiful kids who greeted us while they left for school. Such politeness and kindness is beautiful to watch. She is also very concern about our safety and taught us how to even close and open the front gates and started to test us. It was hilarious but it shows how concern she is over our safety and we felt really happy to have her as our host. The breakfast is good and heavy that kept us filling till our trip to Varadero. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. It is one of the prettiest casa we have stayed throughout Cuba. The Shower was great and we will definitely recommend other travellers as well. The bus stand Vizul is just three blocks away. Since the house is up slope, it is rather not worth taking the rickshaw as it is really difficult for the rickshaw riders to ride up slope. NOT EASY as we saw them persipring and started to feel bad for them! - so you may walk but not advisable at night. So take a cab instead.

  • Beautiful Casa with Friendly, Knowledgeable Family by Toni Marie Ford (Stayed on May 01, 2016)

Really loved our stay at Casa Cecilia. The casa is a 15-20 minute walk out of the centre which gave us a great taste of life in Cienfuegos. Our host was very knowledgeable about the city, activities and sights. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. Be sure to visit the lagoon to see the flamingos! How was the food?
Dinner was delicious and filling. 3 courses. Breakfast was healthy and filled us up for the day. How was the room?
The room is lovely. One of the nicest we stayed in in Cuba. The bathroom has a powerful shower and is incredibly clean. Other Comments
Go for it. A wonderful place to stay in Cienfuegos.

Nice, comfortable beds, good shower. No windows, but because of the heigh ceilings it doesn't feel close.
