Hotel Royalton

The Royalton is without a doubt the best place to stay when you plan a visit to Bayamo. The town, which was founded in 1513 by Conquistador Diego Velázquez, is the birthplace of Cuban patriot Carlos Manuel de Céspedes and the place where Cuba’s National Anthem was composed. The hotel dates back to the 1940’s and is well located opposite of Parque Céspedes in the center of town. The 33 air-conditioned rooms (four rooms offer small balconies) are nicely decorated and all have private showers and a television.
