Casas particulares in Puerto Padre is a port city north of the eastern part of Cuba. It is the provincial capital of the same name in the province of Las Tunas. Puerto Padre appears in history next to the Discovery of America, since, according to various historians and researchers, was the first Cuban port where Christopher Columbus landed on his first voyage to discover the New World. Its economy is fairly diversified. Has the central Antonio Guiteras, the largest producer of raw sugar in the country and an important center of plant products; the salt mining company; the Carúpano port and Hotel Villa Covarrubias for international tourism; and other minor economic lines. Puerto Padre is also a city that is nationally known as "The Blue Villa Mills".
