Mitten im Grünen by Simone Michaelis (Stayed on Mar 10, 2018)

Nice casa surrounded by nature by Johanna (Stayed on Nov 05, 2015)
We stayed there one night after our visit to havanna and it was a pleasure to be back in the nature again. The hosts are really nice and the breakfast on the terrace really good - try the mango jam!
Nice people, good location by SUSAN THACKER (Stayed on Jan 10, 2015)
Maite and her family were very friendly and helpful. The Casa is within 1 km of the main attractions of Soroa. It had been wet befo re we arrived and the general atmosphere was very damp and this was certainly the case in our room although I suspect this is unavoidable. How was the food?
Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the dinners as much as anywhere we ate in Cuba. There was no dessert offered (apart from bananas) and coffee was charged for as an extra. Meals were served on a pleasant outdoor terrace. There was a well stocked fridge and wine in the room. How was the room?
The room was spacious but the furnishings weren't great. There were two large beds but they weren't particularly comfortable and there was only one very poor pillow each. There was very little storage space and it was very dark. The bathroom was ok - the shower worked (but didn't drain well) and there was plenty of hot water but it was windowless and a tiny bit tatty. A mirror would have been helpful. The garden is very large and shared with two other casas. There are lots of pets (parrot, dogs, puppies and rabbits) and chickens running free. On the whole it is lovely but there are areas which are very untidy. The pool didn't appear to be in use when we were there. For info
We found the nearby restaurant El Salto to be very good and incredibly reasonably priced.
