  • Beautiful restored home; but insecure parking by Johanne Kasha (Stayed on Dec 22, 2018)

This was a beautiful restored building with a very comfortable, clean and large room for 3 adults. Laura, who greeted us, was very helpful and friendly. She also spoke English. I have no complaints about the accommodation which was great. My issue is with the parking for our rental car. It was definitely NOT secure. My son was directed to park the car 2 1/2 blocks away from the hostal, on the street. He paid a woman who lived there 2 CUC to watch over the car. Sometime during that night and the next morning when we left, someone had deliberately loosened the wheel nuts and valve on one tire. We were unaware of this when we drove away from the hostal. As we approached a set of traffic lights, a 'friendly' man on a bicycle appeared beside our car, offering to show us how to get out of Santa Clara. We followed him for several streets until coming to a stop sign where he showed us the road to take. We gave him a few CUC for his help. Then he pointed out that we had a flat tire. My 2 adult children proceeded to change the flat tire as the man stood around. That is when we realized what had happened. The man led us to a tire shop which was closed. We said goodbye to him and went on our way. We suspect that he was hoping to change the tire for us and receive more money. I am not at all pleased with this parking arrangement which the hostal seems to have.

  • Just go ! by Julie Dumont (Stayed on Dec 13, 2018)

Hi all - no words to describe. After 2 weeks in Cuba, that's the best accommodation we had: beautiful place, top welcoming, perfect english spoken, top location. If you stop by Santa- Clara that's definitely the place you want to stay (No - I do not work for them !!!! ) Julie

  • très bon séjour by Nathalie crottier-combe (Stayed on Aug 07, 2018)

• WoW really fantastic by Monica (Stayed on Jan 05, 2018)

A very very beautiful place in a big colonial house. It is like a boutique hotel in the city of Che, bit confusing. But we really loved this place. Wine, poetry, good food and proses. Be sure you do not miss casa Autentica Pergola

  • The best one by Maria (Stayed on Jun 19, 2017)

We preferred staying in Casas Particulares in our trip around Cuba, and this one it was our favorite. Very cosy, and familiar. Luly and her family are very sympathy and the breakfast was really good. The Casa is very well located and the views of the balcony are amazing. This was our best experience in Casas Particulares in Cuba.
