  • Lovely first few days in Havana by Lisa

Good location, a few block from Prado (Paseo de Marti) and easy walking distance to the old town. Juan Carlos, Clara and their staff were all very friendly and provided very helpful info for our stay. How was the food?
Breakfast was plentiful and the fruit was delicious. Good coffee. How was the room?
The room was quite big and clean, and the beds were comfy. Other Comments
The bathroom (and all living areas) were spotless. There was also a secure gate to enter the property so felt very safe.

  • Clara and her family gave us a warm welcome into|n|their home. They spoke some English which helped us with communication. How|n|was the food? by Fiona

The breakfast was enormous and tasty, with fresh fruit,|n|omelette, salad, bread, fresh juice, hot drinks... How was the room?
A twin|n|room with two single beds with a really high ceiling, sharing a bath room|n|with a double room. This opened onto a walkway overlooking a courtyard.|n|Other Comments
This casa is in Havana Centro rather than Havana Vieja, down|n|some narrow residential streets. If you have only just arrived in Cuba, you|n|may not feel so confident about walking to the casa, though we found didn't|n|feel unsafe in the area.

  • We were very happy with this Casa on the border of Habana Vieja! Good location, clean and fresh, helpful hosts and great breakfast – everything we need! We had dinner here one evening and it was also delicious. In short, excellent is only fair rating for Casa Juan Carlos! How was the food? by Ingvar Jansson
