Average, can only get light from one window so a bit dark.
Lovely days, Thank you… by Anna Busquets (Stayed on Aug 10, 2015)
We had a fantastic time in casa Juan Carlos. Clara, Juan Carlos and Yuni made us feel very comfortable. They also provide of a good advice that is much appreciated on your first day in Havana (what to visit, where to eat, prices...) The location is very convenient a minutes walk from the capitolio, so no need for taxi to go to the center. How was the food?
The breakfast was fantastic, the best we had in our stay in Cuba ( fruit, coffee, yogurt, fresh juice, bread, butter, jam, cheese and cold meats). How was the room?
Good size room, very clean.
The house was nice and is well located, walking distance to Old Havana and Center by Tatjana Perederija (Stayed on Jul 23, 2015)
The hosts explained us what we can do around the city and called the taxi for us to go to the bus station. The taxi was more expensive though than we wanted to pay, so you should be more specific or get a taxi yourself. It has nothing to do with the house though. How was the food?
We only had breakfast and it was nice with fruits, bread, eggs, juice etc. How was the room?
Big and clean room, shared bathroom but next to the room. Other Comments
We stayed in another house in Havana as well but this house has a better price/quality ratio. Recommended!
Nice stay in a beautiful colonial house near the center of Havana by Marion van den Broek-Thijssen (Stayed on Apr 14, 2015)
Good Place to be in the Old city by Kampen (Stayed on Dec 24, 2014)
The casa is good located (near the main attractions of the old citycenter. The place is safe and clean. The parking place is not in the casa but at a 5 minutes walk on a guarde d parking lot (5 CUC a night extra). We met a friendly owner, who was handicapped because his wife was at vacation. Therefore the supper had a little lower standard than we expected from the other discriptions. But the breakfast was the best we had in our total holiday. (Yoghurt, salads, some hot food, fruits, a very good omelette etc.) The rooms are comfortable, good beds etc. The bathroom you have to deal with people of an other room, which means you have sometimes to wait for washing or using the toilet. In general we think it is a very good casa, but in our opinion an average near the 5 is a little bit to high. But a 4.3 we want to give is also a fantastic figure.
