  • Fantastic casa – location, casa facilities, host family, food by Jan Roar Rosland (Stayed on Mar 02, 2019)

We were two couples who had two rooms at Casa Jean Pierre. Very nice rooms - including separate toilets and shower. Air condition and separate fan in ceiling. Nice breakfast and excellent dinner in the evening (you had to order separately, but no problem). Claudia (who speak very good English) and her mother treated us like family. Unfortunately my sister-in-law got food poisoned in Havana and stayed in bed a full day in Vinales - very sick. The owner Jean Pierre took her to hospital in Vinales for 3 hours - where she got i/v nutrition and medicine. After that, he drove her back to the apartment for resting. Fantastic service! The price of the casa was a little higher than average, but still very cheap. Also taking into consideration the excellent facilities and friendliness from Claudia and her family. And of course from Jean Pierre himself!

  • Loved it! by Kim and KC Flueger (Stayed on Feb 16, 2019)

Cute place, great shaded outdoor area to relax in. Very clean and quiet also. The restaurants and town square are just steps away. We have to say that it is also the people that make the stay great and the young mother who runs the casa and the other travelers we met there were the icing on the cake. Definitely recommend

  • very good accomodation by Robert Drmola (Stayed on Feb 21, 2018)

we spent two nights in this nice and quiet "casa" and we can confirm that it was one of the best what we had in our trip aroud Cuba. The host is very helpful in any case. Breakfasts were wonderful, fantastic dinners we had in owner´s restaurant JJJ - about five minutes far by a walk. We can highly recommend this accomodation

  • Casa Jean Pierre rocks! by Robert o'neal (Stayed on Jan 22, 2018)

I brought my tour clients to Casa Jean Pierre in January of 2018. I know Jean Pierre for his equally fabulous restaurant, Tres J, which is on the Main Street (Cisneros) that runs through my favorite town in all of cuba. The home is sparkling clean and his grandfather created delicious breakfast for us each day for 5 CUC. The showers are great, there are modern a/c units and the place is very secure. You can't go wrong at this place. Be sure to visit Tres J, while you're at it....

  • Great casa for a stay in Vinales by Nicole (Stayed on Jul 23, 2016)

The casa is very centrally located - you have all restaurants in walking distance. We had booked both rooms of the casa in order to enjoy the luxury of not being crammed with the children in one room. The upper room is definitely the nicer one, very spacious, very nice bathroom and the balcony invites to relax in the rocking chair. The lower bedroom is also very good but the breakfast is served directly in front of the door so if other people are staying on the upper floor that can be annoying if they take early breakfast in front of your door. The rooms were very clean, only towels seemed to be a problem. We only had very small, thin towels after they exchanged the big one. How was the food?
The casa only serves breakfast. It was the usual Cuban breakfast with coffee, milk, tea, freshly made juices, fruits, jam, bread, butter. But they also served pancakes and scrambled eggs. Other Comments
My husband forgot his reading glasses and they were very helpful to get them back to us. Jean-Pierre owns a really nice Tapas Bar in the village and as a guest of Casa Jean-Pierre you get an 10% discount!
