  • Great Casa in Viñales with even better hosts by Julian Suttner (Stayed on Apr 12, 2018)

This casa is a great place to stay if your going to Viñales. The house is not at the main street of Viñales so you will have your privacy when you're at home. In about 1 minute you will be at the main street by foot. Everything was very clean and we always felt welcome. Yuya, the host of the casa, is very helpful and gives great information. Our Spanish wasn't very good, but Yuya speaks English very well. She organised a horse riding trip across the tabaco and coffee farms and to the awesome beach Cajo Jutias for us. Everything was very relaxed and easy. We can totally recommend this place.

  • Best place to stay in Vinales by Louis & Alex (Stayed on Feb 22, 2016)

We stayed 3 nights and everything was perfect: the place was 5 minutes walk from the bus station and the main road of Vinales. We had a private dependence and the room was perfectly clean. On our first night, Yuya and her mother cooked us lobster and it was just amazing. Boris, Yuya and all their family were so nice : they arranged everything for us when we wanted to visit the plantations, horse riding,.. They even find a guide early in the morning for a trek to watch the sunrise from the top of the mountains. If we ever came back in Vinales, we"ll certainly come back at this very same place :)

  • Best Casa we stayed in! by Martin Schumacher (Stayed on Jun 08, 2017)

This was the best Casa we stayed in Cuba! Yuya was such a great host! She speaks very well English and was so nice and helpful with everything we asked and needed and its a very familiar atmosphere. The food was great too! Every morning there was fresh fruits, eggs as you like, pancakes, fresh fruit juice and more. Even on the day we had to leave at 6.30 in the morning she took no refusal to make us breakfast that early and on top even made us sandwiches for the journey. Also make sure you eat dinner at her place at least once. As in most of the casas the food is very delicious and at Yuyas place you even get a whole menu with soup as a starter and some biscuits with jam as a dessert. After that you are definitely stuffed. We really were sad when after a few days we had to leave knowing not to come back. It was just such a great stay. Thank you so much Yuya for everything!!!

  • Great hidden gem! by Pieter (Stayed on Apr 12, 2016)

We only booked the first few nights in Havana, and trusted friendly casa owners to recommend places to stay for the rest of our trip. When we arrived in Viñales the original casa was already full and luckily Boris and Yuya had space available. Very friendly reception, great comfortable room (plus bathroom and kitchen) and outdoors area at the back. Breakfast was lovely, dinner was superb! (in the morning, choose what you'd like to have for dinner and around what time, and enjoy their delicious food) Boris and Yuya were great hosts helping us out with tips and arranging transport to the beach, as well as nice conversations after dinner with a cup of coffee or some rum. If you are looking for a place to stay in Viñales, we truly recommend this casa! How was the food?
Breakfast and dinner superb. How was the room?
    Big and comfortable.

  • Great experience in Vinales, even thanks to Yuya! by Sara (Stayed on Jun 30, 2016)

We arrived to the Hostal later than expected and Yuya was great to arrange our horses riding very quickly! She is very welcoming, nice and kind. The rooms are great, spacious, clean and comfortable. You can enjoy breakfast and good food outside the rooms, in a private space where some tables are prepared for the guests' use. Yuya and her mother cooked tasty and typical cuban food for all of us
