We stayed at the Casa Ruth in Trinidad, Cuba for a week. We cannot say enough about Ruth & Mario, who did everything to make our stay comfortable. They arranged the taxis to Playa Ancon, loaned us a pair of sandals, bought and chilled a bottle of wine for us every evening, and served truly excellent breakfasts and dinners. Ruth also made numerous calls to the airport in Santa Clara and helped get our 'delayed' luggage delivered to the Casa, 3 days after we arrived. The rooms downstairs are modest, very clean and quite private. The apartment upstairs is huge and like a private villa. The courtyard, where we ate & read, is lovely. Casa Ruth is located about a 7 minute walk from the main square, and where the ETECSA office was for accessing the Internet. A very good place to stay in Trinidad. You will feel very much at home. How was the food?
