Casa Las Artes in Trinidad is a colonial-style house built in 1889, located in the center of the city of Trinidad, a World Heritage Site, three blocks away from Carlos Manuel de Céspedes central park from where you can access to houses of change, banks, wifi, markets and bus stops. It is a house that has spacious rooms decorated with paintings by one of the hosts, where academic and contemporary elements interact in a very personal style, which make Casa Las Artes a different site that captivates the visitor. Two of the rooms are dedicated to the rent, these are located with direct access to the garden of the house where the client can enjoy the beauty of ornamental plants that show the richness and variety of our flora, as well as recreate by watching varied fish that swim with grace and freedom in the ponds, integrating harmoniously to the created environment and transmitting an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility that stimulate rest and healthy recreation. We were greeted with these words and we really felt like being at a friend's house. Roidley and Gretel family is fantastic. We had also a lunch at the casa and we have eaten the best Ropa Vieja of all Cuba's restaurant (my wife has also exchanged recipes with casa's women). The house was built in the late 19th century and once you open the door it seems to enter in a art gallery (Roidley is an artist and is painting are very remarkable), Our room was large and confortable and overlooks the internal garden of the house where there are also two pools. The casa is ten minutes walk from the marvellous Trinidad city center and 15 minutes from Plaza Mayor. we will never forget Roidley and Gretel fantastic family and we highly reccomend their casa.

We kind of had the impression that there are so many tourists in Trinidad, that casa owners don't really pay as much attention as in smaller cities! How was the food?

Voici une bien belle maison familiale on se cetoient dans une grande harmonie plusieurs generations.la maison est suffisamment spacieuse et grande pour que les hetes soient independants. Le patio est un jardin arboreou coule l'eau des fontaines. Le proprietaire est un jeune artiste qui parle. How was the food?

Casa Las Artes is a multi generation owned casa. The family is helpful and friendly. It is good to have some spanish knowledge to be able to communicate. They also offer a Spanish Course in there casa. Food
We had only one dinner at the casa and the food was ok. Room
The room was big enough for 4 people, although we were only 2. The courtyard is very nice and green with little water fountains. The house is full of very impressing art made by the young casa owner. Location
The location of the casa is a 10 minute walk from the historic center of Trinidad. The casa is located on a quite busy road, but the rooms are in the back side of the house and therefor quite.
