  • Great casa by Paula Strengnell Edlund (Stayed on Feb 26, 2017)

We love this casa and this was the second time we stayed here. The casa is 5 min away from the city center and 5 min from the derailed train. The owner speaks very good English and we have had great conversations and gotten to know a lot about Cuba and the history. How was the food?
Both breakfast and dinner has been very good and plenty so you don't leave the table hungry. How was the room?
We have stayed both in the room on the second floor and the on on the first floor. I prefer the one on the second floor. The downstairs bath tub needs some freshing up even if you just take a shower and not a bath. But everything is clean and nice. Other Comments
It's a lovely casa and a recommend everyone to stay here!

  • We had a wonderful stay! by Valerio (Stayed on Jun 23, 2012)

We had a wonderful stay in Hostal Elida. Carlos and all his family was fantastic with us! How was the food?
The food was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner at the Hostal and we can say that Carlo's mother is a perfect cook! How was the room?
The room is very comfortable, with air conditioning. Bathroom was clean. Other Comments
The Hostal is very close to the main attractions of the city and very close to the centre. Wa had no problem also for parking our car. Carlos helped us in all the way and we had no problems at all during our stay. Very recommended!
