Best Breakfast we had! (Stayed on Mar 09, 2016)
We just had the chance to stay here because our actual casa was overbooked. It is a great casa with nice hosts. It was a really familiar atmosphere. How was the food?
The Breakfast was the best we had on our trip! It had ham and cheese and everything you need. The juice was great too. How was the room?
The room was big and nice in colonial style with a high ceiling. We will never forget Santiago and Jatene! by Ligia Maria Coelho de Souza Rodrigues (Stayed on Feb 15, 2015)
Staying in Santiago and Jatenes's house was one of the best thing during our trip to Cuba. Not only the hou se is excellent and very confortable, the only house we have been where everything works very well. The owners themselves are the loveliest people you can meet, in a country where people are in general extraordinary and extremely helpful and warm and kind. Listening to Santiago telling his experience of participating in the Angola liberation war was worth the trip. Santa Clara is a city you can not miss if you want to know something about Cuba's history, in particular the history of the revolution. So, go there and stay in Casa Buena Vista. How was the food?
Very good, the best food we ate in Santa Clara. Too bad that they do not really have a restaurant, they just serve drinks (I miss their mojito a lot) and meals to the guests. How was the room?
Very good. The only problem is that we were unlucky and it seems that one of the nights we spent there had one of the lowest temperatures in Cuba ever. So, when we came for the second time, we called before and asked him to get extra blankets. What did he do? Bought us brand new blankets, something which is not at all simple in Cuba! Other Comments
I want to go to Cuba again, I look forward to meet Santiago, Jatene and Senia!
