  • Life on the farm by Kathy Bangay (Stayed on Mar 09, 2017)

What a wonderful farm, the owners were amazing! Annie and extended family were very welcoming. We saw first hand how self sufficient life on a small farm could be. They kindly catered to our individual needs and provided delicious breakfasts and dinners. How was the food?
    Excellent. How was the room?
    Very comfortable.

  • Would come back (Stayed on Mar 01, 2016)

We would come back! How was the food?
We only had breakfast, but this was o.k.for the price. How was the room?
Not big, but big enough and very clean. Other Comments
Very friendly owner. Very good possibility to explore the area of Las Terrazas. We had no car, but the Taxi from the Casa brought us to a very fair price to every place we want, also to the airport of Havana.

  • Wonderfully friendly by Moya Neale (Stayed on Feb 20, 2016)

Very friendly hosts, felt welcomed straight away and it was lovely being in a house with generations of family. Ani and her family were very he lpful. There is a fridge with water/beers, cocktails are available to order. The casa is next door to Villa Duque. How was the food?
Extremely tasty and well prepared. How was the room?
We had the double room upstairs, with a small sitting area outside the bedroom, and a bathroom. There was also a terrace to sit on downstairs. Everything was clean and comfortable. It can be a bit noisy - working farm/cockerels/tractors, but we slept fine. In most of the places we stayed, city and country, I thought ear plugs might be useful! Other Comments
Ani arranged a car to take us between the casa and Las Terrazas whenever we wanted to go. It's even possible that her son in law, who took us to the bus for Vinales, had a word with the driver to ensure we got on (bus was crowded - perhaps advisable to buy a ticket before you leave Habana). I really enjoyed practising Spanish with Ani who spoke wonderfully clearly, we had a good guided walk in Las Terrazas and a lovely walk along the road one evening, saw lots of birds.
