Casa Villa Raquel

Casa Villa Raquel in Las Terrazas is located just 6 km from the tourist community Las Terrazas. Located within a typical peasant farm, it offers visitors the opportunity to observe and taste a variety of fruit trees (caimito, mango, guava, coconut, orange, guanabana, chirimoya, cashew, among others and depending on the season). You can also appreciate the breeding of domestic animals and poultry (pigs, chickens, pheasants, guineas, etc.). As a novelty and attraction for the client they have the breeding of the Bee of the Earth, is a harmless insect and you can taste its rich honey, extracted directly from the hive. Visitors can also take a tour of the farm and observe the great variety of wild birds (in many cases endemic) such as: Cuban trogon, different species of wood peckers, humming bird, mocking bird among others. The family that will welcome visitors consists of 5 members: Raquel, Yolanda, Gustavo, Rocio and Carlos, these last ones go to school, they are still teenagers, while the adults work in the farm, they assure you that if you visit them you will be pleasant and quiet, surrounded by nature and above all hospitality.
