The only problem I had with the food is that there was too much. After the first breakfast I had to tell them that I couldn't eat that much. How was the room?

Recommended by a cuban friend of mine, my expectacion was high - and fullfilled. The hosts were like family within minutes, although I couldn't eat supper with them ( I had an invitation by my friend), we had a long and lovely Spanish conversation after 9 pm together with friends. It was a wonderful night, continued by a family breakfast where they went out of their way to ensure my next accomodation. They had just finished their patio and will add another room as soon as possible. With their ambitious and energy they will achive everything for themselves and their guests. How was the food?

We stayed here for one night in late May the day before we flew back to the UK. The casa was located on a nice street, 5 blocks from the city centre. Jose is a very help ful man who provided useful advice regarding restaurants (Calle Cuba was great), things to visit etc. The room was large and had good air con. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Cuba and was also the cheapest. I would recommend this place very highly. Thanks Jose and Edelmi!

My wife and I booked this casa on reconmmendation by friends on the end of our trip. From all of the casas we seen this were the casa where we felt as part of the family. The owner gives you attention and a welcomed feeling at any time without beeing unpleasant. He speaks very good English. He gives you an overview about the cuban life and takes time for a deeper and honest discussion. We got interesting new insights even after travelling 10 days through the country. The casa is located 6-7 min to the central place in Holguin. How was the food?
Food was excellent and as always to much. We had soup, chicken legs with rice, salad, banana chips, beans and fresh juice and desert. How was the room?
The room is big and clean. The bathroom is sufficient. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. It has air condition and ventilator. Other Comments
The owner is a honorable and sympathic man. The prices for food and drinks are really fair. We had a good time.
