Wohnen mitten im schönen cubanischen Alltag by Schmidt (Stayed on Nov 20, 2016)
Unsere Unterkunft lag sehr zentral in einer ruhigen und auch schönen Gegend. Vom Balkon aus konnte man das bunte cubanische Leben an sich vorbeiziehen sehen. Es war sehr unterhaltsam und hat Spass gemacht. Die Unterkunft war einfach, aber alles im guten Zustand. Zum Haus gehörte ein kleiner ganz lieber Hund, der uns immer mal wieder mit seinem Auftauchen erschreckt hatte. Die Familie war sehr freundlich. Die Nachbarin half immer beim übersetzen, da die Gastgeber selber kein englisch sprachen. Das Essen war richtig lecker und viel. Vom leckeren Pana Cotta der Oma kam ich kaum weg. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen. Wir fühlten uns so herzlich aufgenommen. Schade das wir nur einen Tag vor Ort waren.

Juan and Hermania were lovely, receiving me with as much warmth and kindness as I could expect in my own home and being my main stop-off for information and advice. Juan and Hermania became good friends of mine, introduced me to many interesting people and generally made my stay unforgettable. They even went so far as to suggest casas in several towns ahead and tell me which places were worth seeing and which weren't; advice which I found to be entirely accurate and helpful! Thanks! Stayed on 3 separate occasions at this guest house in a very quiet and pleasant residential area.Each time 3 week stay.Always very high standard of service cleanliness and hospitality.If you have a problem they will help you.I was once provided with free medical attention with a local doctor when I was ill and Manuel even escorted me to the hospital on one occasion.There is a lock up garage available which is great if you are travelling around the island. How was the food?
