Casa Maria Elena & Sabino

An excellent casa. They take care of extra requests, paz attention to details. We spent 6 days here instead of originnalz planned 4, because we had so good time and the weather was a bit better here that other parts if Cuba at that time. Big thanks for Guanabana. We stayed 1 night at Casa El Balcon, which is also excellent and run by the same family. Baracoa is our big love, there are so many things to do threre! How was the food?
First class. Home made delicious tastes, chicheritas the best, black bean soup, camarones en salsa, I am still under the influence of those tastes. You simply cant get this at a restaurant. We dined twice in ElBalcon, also excellent food and service, the vegetable cream soups we will not forget! How was the room?
It is not only a room, there is also a huge terrace, from wherre you can see the Baracoa landscape while having breakfast or dinner. Very clean, nice to stay in. Other Comments
THe room is next to the market, where food is distributed, it is a good opportunity to witness how the social care is executed and working in real in Cuba.

Our stay house of Elena and Sabino was very pleasant. They gave us a heartily welcome and even suggested to meet us at the towns border so as to easily get to their house. The apartment es clean and full of light and fresh air. From the roof terrace you can overlook the town and even see the ocean. Elena and sabino are extremety friendly Sabino accompanied us to the restaurant and the other day Elena surprised us with her cooking - the shrimps in coconut - sauce were delicious. The neighbour guarded our rented car during the stay so we did not have to worry about taht. We recommend the house honestly. Andrea y Julia, Austria.
