Casa Hostal El Capitan in La Boca beach is a superb modern maison, with incredible position in front of the sea. In a quiet, relax, and seaside area, special to enjoy seawater and sunshine. 2 modern rooms with all facilities, private terrace and meals service. Maikel, the owner, offer too internet service, taxi service and diving service with instructor. In the coast, only 50m from Casa, exist an special and deep area to diving. Only 15 min from Trinidad, is a paradisiacal and anti-strees place.

Set to become a very upmarket casa in the future: "Very comfortable accommodation. The owners of this casa obviously have plans to make it a very upmarket casa in the future. They are still working on the garden / patio and it looks as if they have plans to build a pool in the future. Hosts spoke good English and very very helpful in arranging taxis etc.
How was the food?: Very good - plenty of fruit, eggs, biscuits for breakfast and we also had dinner served on the veranda, watching the fishermen and the sunset on two evenings.
How was the room?: Everything was very high spec. - wooden shutters on 3 walls, extremely comfortable bed + pillows, efficient air con,clean moden bathroom, beautiful veranda with high quality dining table plus recliners.
Other Comments:La Boca is a very small fishing village - we chose this location so that we could get to the sandy beach at Playa Ancon without staying in a hotel and also get into Trinidad. It proved to be a very good location for us, it was easy to catch the Trinibus or get a taxi to the beach or the city. We were just a little bit surprised that the price we paid at the end of our stay was 5 CUC a night higher than we had been quoted by BBInn. When we questioned this we were told that the price had gone up since we had booked and that it was on the website, although our confirmation fromm BBInn assured us that this was the set price and no extra charge would be applied."

We really appreciate you take part of your time and write opinions about your stay in all casas you were in Cuba. We really are surprised about the problem of the price of the casa El Capitan, because prices in our website are given by casa owners and so far none of the owners never charged 5CUC extra to our clients, because is not in our policy get paid for this. We really sorry about it, we already talk to casa owners and they said that they charged 5cuc more because the room they gave you was just new room and didn’t appear in our web site in that moments and they charged for this 5cuc more than the standard rooms you booked with us, they explained you and you were agree in take the new room. We had other clients staying with El Capitan before and never had problems before of overcharging. They said was a misunderstanding. One more time really sorry about this in our name and in the name of Casa el Capitan but at the same time we could see you enjoy your stay with them and with the other casas you stayed.

How was the food?: Generaly Ok, but the same food for breakfast every day for all period of our stay; dinner - perfect.
How was the room?: Room was ok; bit too noisy , because of location of the room ( near living room and kitchen ) ; other rooms should be fine.
Other Comments: Nice people , bit too keen for money, as everyone in Cuba :)))"
